I shot fashion editorial work with Icelandic model Ava Hilmarsdottir in Miami. We actually shot two different stories over three days on location in Miami Beach. Ava is represented by Freedom Models in Miami Premier Models in London and various other agencies around the world.
Ava is a unbelievably natural beauty from Iceland but has lived most of her life in the UK. I could not have asked for a friendlier model to shoot with. We had a great time even though we were dealing with weather that was changing from blistering bright sun to literally a tropical storm passing through.
I was shooting on medium format film so it was challenging for sure but we got the job done and had a great time and I hope to work with her again soon.
