Swimsuit Editorial Photoshoot
As a Los Angeles based fashion photographer shooting swimwear is a big part of the fashion photography industry on the west coast.
My personal style and preference is to shoot editorial and high fashion type models for swimwear as opposed to glamour type models. That is not to say there is anything wrong with glamour models or photography, my personal preference is to shoot smaller chested, long, lean fashion type models because i like to focus on working with sharp angles and creating dimension.
I recently shot with Samara Martins from Industry Model Management and she was simply amazing. Samara knew how to move and she is one of the most natural and beautiful models I have worked with. Her Brazilian skin tone really made the swimwear pop. We shot swimwear from Los Angeles based swimwear label, SAME Los Angeles
Here are a few images from our shoot. Most of these were actually shot on 35mm film which i really enjoyed shooting.
